Sony has finally launched its latest flagship smartphone ahead of IFA 2018 called the Sony Xperia XZ3. The smartphone is the successor to the Sony Xperia XZ2 smartphone launched earlier this year in Berlin. Sony Xperia XZ3 price has not been revealed yet but it will be available in select global markets starting end of September 2018.
The smartphone is available in Black, White Silver, Forest Green, and Bordeaux Red colour variants. Sony Xperia XZ3 will be the world’s first smartphone to ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 512GB.
Xperia XZ3 sports a 6-inch QHD+ HDR OLED Triliminous 18:9 aspect ratio display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The smartphone comes with a 19-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.o aperture, AI including Superior Auto, Predictive Capture, Predictive Autofocus and Smile Shutter. It supports up to 4K HDR recording and 960fps super slow-motion video recording.
The Xperia XZ3 sports a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with 23mm wide angle lens for taking wider selfies. It comes with popular AI features to take better low light photos and better portrait mode selfies. The smartphone comes with a rear-placed fingerprint scanner and houses a 3,30mAh battery. In terms of the overall design, it is the same as the Xperia XZ2.
Sony Xperia XZ3 comes with WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth5.0, NFC, and USB Type -C port for charging and data syncing with quick charge 3.0 support. The smartphone also supports Hi-Res audio and is IP65/68 water and dust resistant. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, deals, reviews and more.
