Google is all set to launch the 3rd generation of its popular Pixel lineup of smartphones. After many leaks and rumours, Google has finally announced that the company will launch the Google Pixel 3 and the Google Pixel 3 XL on 9th October 2018 in New York.
Google has started sending out press invites for an event on 9th October 2018 in New York. The invite says “I Love New York” with the letter 3 in between for the love symbol. The 3 means Google Pixel 3 and the Google Pixel 3 XL. If all the previous leaks are true, we know almost everything about the upcoming Pixel smartphones.
There is a single rear camera set up at the back with iconic Google dual tone finish along with a rear placed fingerprint scanner. At the front, it comes with a full-screen display with thinner bezels all around. Google Pixel 3XL comes with a medium sized display notch at the top. The notch houses the earpiece along with a dual camera setup.
The dual camera setup is expected to help with better low-light portrait shots as well as for the facial recognition system. The Google Pixel 3 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
