We are now just a week away from the official launch of the 2018 iPhone models. Thanks to a number of leaks we know that Apple will launch three new iPhones this year including iPhone XS (iPhone X Successor), a new 6.5-inch iPhone XS (iPhone XS Max) and an entry-level LCD iPhone (iPhone SE2, iPhone X SE).
While we were expecting Apple to call the larger variant of the iPhone XS as the iPhone XS Plus, According to a report by 9to5Mac it will be called as the iPhone XS Max. The report mentions that two sources familiar with the Apple’s marketing plan told them about the name of the new iPhone.
In 2014, Apple introduced the “Plus” model for the first time with the iPhone 6 Plus and now will re-brand it to “Max”. For the first time, Apple will launch an iPhone with a gold colour option. There is no word on the entry-level LCD iPhone which is expected to be the successor to the iPhone SE.
In terms of design iPhone XS looks just like the iPhone X with a gold colour option and a bigger display on the Plus or higher-end variant. Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will be powered by the Apple’s new A12 processor with the iPhone XS SE expected to come with the old A10 processor.
Both the new iPhone XS model will come with 4GB of RAM and iPhone XS Max might come with a dual-SIM option in select markets including India. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for latest tech news, deals, reviews and more.
