OnePlus has launched a new version of its Bullets V2 headphones in India called the OnePlus Type C Bullets. OnePlus has launched the new type-C headphones in India ahead of the OnePlus 6T launch expected next month. The OnePlus Type C Bullets is priced at Rs. 1,499 and will be available via online and offline retails across India.

OnePlus says it will be available with the next device, which is the OnePlus 6T. The smartphone is expected to be launched in the second half of October 2018. With the launch of the Type Bullets V2 headphones we can easily say that the OnePlus 6T will ditch the headphone jack.

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei confirmed to TechCrunch that the next device will not come with a headphone jack. While he didn’t mention the OnePlus 6T, we know it is the OnePlus 6T. Other than this OnePlus has already announced that the OnePlus 6T will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Coming back to the new Type C headphones by OnePlus, the company said the USB Type C connection results in minimal loss of quality for a superior audio outcome. OnePlus says the new Bullets headphones are a step up from the Bullets V2, though from the outside it will sport the same metal design.

Pei also said that one of the biggest reason of removing the headphone jack is to add more features to the smartphone and improving the battery life. So we can expect a good battery backup form the upcoming OnePlus 6T. The smartphone will also sport the trending Waterdrop style display notch, which will further improve the screen to body ratio.
