OnePlus 6T Images Leaked – Triple Camera Setup, Waterdrop Display Notch

Share

OnePlus is all set to launch its next flagship killer called the OnePlus 6T. The Chinese company is expected to launch the smartphone in October and thanks to the various leaks and rumours, we know a lot about the upcoming OnePlus flagship.

As reported by SlashGear, The OnePlus 6T render shared by a Weibo user shows an all-new display with a small Waterdrop display notch at the top. This is similar to what we have seen with the recent Oppo flagships and given the old trend of similarity between Oppo and OnePlus, Waterdrop display notch is final. It results in a better screen-to-body ratio with thinner bezels like on the OnePlus 6.

OnePlus 6T will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner as there is no fingerprint scanner at the back. Again it matches the recent trend of Oppo flagships with the launch of the Oppo R17 Pro. OnePlus is going the Huawei way for the rear camera as the OnePlus 6T comes with a triple camera setup. It will be interesting to see how OnePlus will take advantage of that extra sensor and will it be able to beat current leaders like the Pixel 2, iPhone X and the upcoming ons like Pixel 3 and iPhone XS.

The OnePlus 6T is expected to be priced around Rs. 38,999 as it is not just an incremental update from the 6. While OnePlus has been increasing its price with every new smartphone, increasing the price for the OnePlus 6T makes sense as there is an in-display fingerprint scanner, triple camera setup and a waterdrop notch.
