Google is all set to launch the Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL on 9th October 2018 in New York. Just a day after Apple launched three new iPhones called the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, Google has started teasing its upcoming Pixel 3 series with a new landing page on its store.
Just as we have seen with the media invites, the landing page shows a big three return and there is an option to sign up. After you have signed up it will show “Looks like you’ve already enrolled for updates from the Google Store. Be on the lookout for some news from us on Oct. 9. ”
There is a single rear camera set up at the back with iconic Google dual tone finish along with a rear placed fingerprint scanner. At the front, it comes with a full-screen display with thinner bezels all around. Google Pixel 3XL comes with a medium sized display notch at the top. The notch houses the earpiece along with a dual camera setup.
The dual camera setup is expected to help with better low-light portrait shots as well as for the facial recognition system. The Google Pixel 3 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
While we know everything about the 2018 Pixel devices, we hope we are wrong and Google will launch something different. It will be interesting to see how Google Pixel 3 XL will compete against the iPhone XS Max which comes with the latest A12 Bionic Chipset.
