Last year in November, Razer launched its first smartphone called the Razer Phone. The smartphone was also the first commercial gaming smartphone which opened gates for many more gaming smartphones like Xiaomi Blackshark. Now the gaming company is all set to launch its second generation of gaming smartphone called the Razer Phone 2.
Razer has started sending out save the dates invites for an event on 10th October 2018. The invite says flagship gaming which means a flagship gaming smartphone is coming. But what made us sure that it is indeed the Razer phone 2 is the green outline with two bumps for the volume rockers.
We don’t expect razer to move to a bezel-less display smartphone and in terms of design, it is expected to be same as the Razer Phone. We can expect a better cooling system, some more improvements and refinements to its gaming UI and maybe some RGB love form Razer at the back.
Razer Phone 2 will run on Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Razer will be keeping its popular 120hz refresh rate display and the front firing stereo speaker setup. We might see a better camera setup which will make the smartphone a true flagship.
