Samsung Galaxy A7 Announced – First Triple Camera Phone From Samsung

Samsung has finally announced its first triple-rear camera smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy A7. The company has announced the Galaxy A7 for Europe and Asia. Samsung will launch the Galaxy A7 on 11th October 2018 and we will know more about the smartphone including the pricing.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM 128GB of internal storage expandable via microSD. The smartphone sports a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED 18:9 aspect ratio infinity display and houses a 3,300mAh battery.

Samsung mid-range smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup with a 24-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor to collect depth information for better bokeh effect. There is an additional 8-megapixel wide angle lens with a 120-degree field of view. So overall you are getting a great triple camera setup.

Till now, only Huawei has launched a triple camera smartphone called the Huawei P20 Pro. Huawei even teased Apple after the iPhone XS Max launch as it comes with only a dual-rear camera setup. Now Samsung has also announced a triple-rear camera setup, surprisingly in a mid-range smartphone first.

We can safely assume that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will have a triple-rear camera setup. While some leaks suggested a 5 camera setup on the Galaxy S10, we believe it would have a total of five cameras – Triple rear camera, dual front camera.
