Xiaomi sub-brand Huami has launched another smartwatch in China called the Huami Amazfit Verge. The Huami Amazfit Verge is priced at CNY 799 around Rs. 7,400 in China and is already available for purchase via JD.com and Tmall. The Xiaomi smartwatch is available in three colour variants including Moonlight White, Sky Grey, and Twilight Blue.
Huami’s Amazfit Pace is already a very popular smartwatch around the world and the Verge will follow the same path. Amazfit Verge comes with 1.30-inch AMOLED round display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The budget smartwatch is powered by a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
The Huami Amazfit Verge runs on Android-based Amazfit OS and comes with built-in microphone and loudspeaker to enable voice calling support. As a Xiaomi sub-brand, the Amazfit Verge can connect to Mijia products including Yi lights, Mi Air Purifier, Electric Fan, Electric sockets, rice cookers and even air conditioners. So you can control all these with just your wrist.
It also comes with Xiao AI voice assistant for answering questions and navigating through the UI. It can track all of your fitness data and comes with 11 motion modes including indoor running, tennis, ski, football, and walking. As other Chinese smart products, it comes with WeChat integration support.
