Xiaomi Redmi 6A,6, 6 Pro Launched in India – Price, Specifications, Features

Xiaomi has finally launched three new smartphones in India called the Xiaomi Redmi 6A, Xiaomi Redmi 6, and Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro. Xiaomi Redmi 6A is priced at an introductory price Rs 5,999 for the 2GB RAM variant and Rs.6,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and will be available via Amazon India, Mi.com starting 19th September 2018. Xiaomi Redmi 6 is priced at an introductory price Rs. 7,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant and Rs. 9,499 for the 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant.

The smartphone will be available via Flipkart, Mi.com starting 10th September 2018 at 12 Noon. There is Rs. 500 off via the HDFC Bank debit and credit card for the first sale only. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB of internal storage variant and Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB of internal storage variant. Redmi 6 Pro will be available via Amazon India, Mi.com starting 11 September 2018 at 12 Noon. There is Rs. 500 off via the HDFC Bank debit and credit card for the first sale only.

Xiaomi Redmi 6A Specifications

Xiaomi Redmi 6 is powered by a 2Ghz Helio A22 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The dual-SIM smartphone comes with a dedicated SD card slot to expand your storage and dual 4G VoLTE support. The smartphone is available in Gold, Blue, Black and Rose Gold colour variants and houses a 3,000mAh battery.

The smartphone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with MIUI 9 on top. It comes with a 13-megapxiel rear camera with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. It also comes with AI Face Unlock and other AI features with the Mi Camera app like AI Portrait mode and Beautify mode.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 is powered by a 2Ghz MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM. It will be interesting to see what Snapdragon processor Xiaomi will use for the Indian variant. It comes with 32GB/64GB of internal storage expandable via MicroSD and a rear placed fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with MIUI 9 on top. It comes with a horizontal dual-rear camera set up at the back with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor with electronic image stabilization.

The front-facing camera is of 5-megapixel and comes with the popular Face Unlock feature. The camera comes with AI capabilities and the smartphone uses micro-USB port for charging and data syncing. The smartphone is available in Gold, Blue, Black and Rose Gold colour variants.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro Specifications

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is powered by a 2Ghz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage expandable via microSD up to 256GB. It comes with a dedicated SD card slot and houses a 4,000mAh battery.

The Redmi smartphone sports a 5.84-inch full-HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a display notch at top and bezel all around. The dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android Oreo out of the box with MIUI 9 UI on top. The smartphone will also get the latest MIUI 10 and is available in Gold, Blue, Black and Red colour variants.

The Redmi 6 Pro sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The front-facing camera is of 5-megapixel and comes with the AI portrait mode, HDR and the popular Face unlock Feature.
