Xiaomi is all set to launch a new colour variant of its popular Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. Xiaomi will be launching the Flame Red variant of the Redmi Note 5 Pro which was launched in China in June. The Chinese company is celebrating the 5th anniversary of its Redmi Series with this new colour variant.
Redmi India tweeted about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Fame Red variant saying “RED is coming! Watch this space tomorrow at 10 AM!”. While on the teaser image Xiaomi says RED-y which points towards its Redmi Y2 smartphone but given that the company already has a Fame Red variant of the Redmi Note 5 in China.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. This is also the global launch of the Snapdragon 636 processor based on Kryo 260 architecture. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro sports a 5.99-inch full HD+ 18:9 display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The dual-SIM smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup. It comes with a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera with LED flash. It also comes with the popular portrait mode. The smartphone comes with a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor front facing camera. Both the cameras come with Beautify 4.0 for making your pictures more beautiful.
This is the first Xiaomi smartphone to come with a portrait selfie mode. The front soft light comes with 4500K temperature for better low light performance. The smartphone also comes with a Face Unlock feature which will be released later via an OTA. This face unlocks feature will come by end of the march. It houses a massive 4,000 mAh battery.
It uses a dual pyrolytic sheet to handle the heating problem and keeping the smartphone cool. It will come with the custom charger that can handle voltage fluctuations. The smartphone will come with a free Ultra Slim case in the box. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
