Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Red Edition Launched in India

Xiaomi has finally launched the Fame Red/ Red Edition of its popular Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB of internal storage variant and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM/64GB of internal storage. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Red edition will go on sale today via Mi.com at 10 AM and will be available soon on Flipkart too.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. This is also the global launch of the Snapdragon 636 processor based on Kryo 260 architecture. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro sports a 5.99-inch full HD+ 18:9 display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a  dual rear camera setup. It comes with a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera with LED flash. It also comes with the popular portrait mode. The smartphone comes with a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor front facing camera. Both the cameras come with Beautify 4.0 for making your pictures more beautiful.

This is the first Xiaomi smartphone to come with a portrait selfie mode. The front soft light comes with 4500K temperature for better low light performance. The smartphone also comes with a Face Unlock feature which will be released later via an OTA. This face unlocks feature will come by end of the march. It houses a massive 4,000 mAh battery.

It uses a dual pyrolytic sheet to handle the heating problem and keeping the smartphone cool. It will come with the custom charger that can handle voltage fluctuations. The smartphone will come with a free Ultra Slim case in the box. Stay tuned to Sid Tech for more tech updates.
