Xiaomi’s gaming sub-brand Black Shark has already teased that its next gaming smartphone aka Black Shark 2 will come with Liquid Cool 3.0 technology. Now according to the new listing on Geekbench, the Black Shark 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor and will run latest Android 9.0 Pie.

Earlier reports suggested that the Black Shark 2 will come with 8GB of RAM, so we can expect different variants of the smartphone including 8GB RAM, 10GB RAM and 12GB RAM. The Xiaomi gaming smartphone is expected to be launched in China next month.

Black Shark is also ready to launch products in India and we can expect Black Shark 2 India launch to happen soon. With games like PUBG Mobile and Fortnite gaining popularity in India, Black Shark 2 should be well received in the country.

We don’t know much regarding the design of the smartphone but it should be similar to the Black Shark Helo smartphone launched in October 2018. It will be interesting to see how Xiaomi will price the Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone, especially in India as currently there are no Snapdragon 855 powered cheap smartphones in the market.
